DirectLaw's Quick Registration or "Quick Click" Feature
Here's a scenario that is certainly familiar to many law firms: an unknown prospect phones up, making a tentative inquiry asking for advice. While you are talking on the phone, you can create a client account with just their email address and name.
Here is a step-by-step procedure for Quick Registration or "Quick Click":
Quick Registration
Use the Quick Registration function to engage with a prospective client who calls the firm. For example, a caller is asking for initial guidance on whether the firm can help; is ready to purchase a document(s); or other similar scenarios where the firm has an opportunity to capture new business.
Scenario: A caller is starting his own business and wants to know if your firm can assist. If the caller is currently at a computer with Internet access, you could:
-- Log into the firm's Attorney Dashboard
-- Click on the Client Admin tab
-- Click on the Quick Registration link (found below the Search box/function)
-- Enter the caller's personal info (First Name; Last Name; E-mail address; etc.).
-- Click on Submit
-- Click Yes to send this prospective client an e-mail containing information on how to log into the account you just created for him.
The username/password is generated automatically by the DirectLaw platform, making this process very quick and easy.
-- You have the option to also add a Questionnaire to the client account you just created. This provides an opportunity to walk the prospective client through the Questionnaire, for example the Articles of Incorporation questionnaire which would create incorporation docs and start the process.
-- Select Yes to add a Questionnaire, or No to move to the next screen.
NOTE: In this scenario, the Invoices function could also be used to bill/invoice the client before the completed documents are delivered via the platform. Invoices can be easily uploaded via the Invoices tab found on the Attorney Dashboard.
